Career

After graduating from Kobe University and working for a Kyoto game company, Tanioka joined Square in 1998.

Tanioka left Square Enix and began working as a freelancer in 2010.

  • For Minecraft's Tricky Trials music, Tanioka experimented with an aquarion glass xylophone and a bamboo instrument.
