Yoshi terms of use for accounts, connected gaming services, game data, fair use, and feature availability
What Yoshi does
Yoshi helps you search for games, keep a collection, save statuses, ratings, folders and lists, and connect gaming accounts if you choose to use that feature.
Your account
If you create an account in Yoshi, you are responsible for your email address, sign-in method, and actions made through your account. Do not share access to your account with other people. You can initiate account deletion in the app. After the request is confirmed and processed, we delete the data linked to the account except for data that we are required or permitted to temporarily keep by law, for safety, to prevent abuse, for backup recovery, or to resolve disputes.
Connected gaming services
Connecting gaming services is optional. If you connect a gaming service, Yoshi may receive and process information needed for the linked feature to work: public profile details, account identifiers, game library or game lists, statuses, and sync data. You can disconnect a connected service in the app. Availability of these features also depends on the rules, settings, and technical availability of the relevant gaming service.
Game data, images, and third-party content
Game names, images, trademarks, logos, descriptions, and other materials belong to their owners. Yoshi may show information and images from external services. This data may be incomplete, inaccurate, delayed, changed, or removed by external services. Yoshi does not claim ownership of third-party materials.
Fair use
Do not misuse the app. You may not try to access another account, bypass security, disrupt the service, overload infrastructure, copy or reproduce Yoshi, or use automated tools or other methods that harm Yoshi, external services, or other users.
Feature availability
We may change, limit, pause, or remove Yoshi features for safety, maintenance, product improvement, legal requirements, or changes in external services. We try to keep the app stable, but we do not guarantee that every feature will always be available or error-free.
Changes to terms
We may update these terms as Yoshi changes. We will communicate updates in a reasonable way, such as in the app or on the legal page.
