Career

While at Playdead, Carlsen's main contribution to LIMBO was designing its puzzles; he also presented the game's puzzle-design process at GDC Europe 2010.

Carlsen's debut Carlsen Games title, 140, was released in 2013 with his design and programming credit.

THOTH was released in 2016 as a subsequent Carlsen Games title with Carlsen credited for design and programming.

Carlsen and Jakob Schmid co-founded Geometric Interactive after their Playdead work.

COCOON became Geometric Interactive's first released game in 2023, with Carlsen credited for Game Direction and Gameplay Design.
