Hidetaka Miyazaki is a video game director and game creator. He is FromSoftware, Inc.'s Representative Director and President.
Career
Miyazaki joined FromSoftware in 2004 after working at Oracle.
He took over the struggling Demon's Souls project during development and substantially reworked it.
He was appointed president of FromSoftware in 2014.
In 2018, Miyazaki helped establish Armored Core VI's initial-directors team and prototype before Masaru Yamamura became director.
Interesting Facts
- Time included Miyazaki in its 2023 TIME 100 list.
- Miyazaki has said that playing Ico prompted his move toward game development.
