Fumito Ueda is a game designer and game director.
Career
Ueda joined Sony Computer Entertainment in 1997.
In December 2011, Game Informer reported Sony had confirmed Ueda's departure and that he would finish The Last Guardian as a contractor.
In June 2015, Ueda described himself as the creative director of the collaborative The Last Guardian development, with genDESIGN focused on aesthetics.
Interesting Facts
- After graduating from Osaka University of Arts, Ueda taught himself computer-graphics skills.
