David Gaider

David Gaider is a game writer and the Creative Director & Co-Founder of Summerfall Studios. He began his professional game career at BioWare in 1999, working on Baldur's Gate II: Shadows of Amn.

Career

He became Lead Writer on Neverwinter Nights: Hordes of the Underdark and directed the narrative process for that expansion.

Gaider was Lead Writer on Dragon Age: Origins and acted as world designer for the Dragon Age series.

He co-founded Summerfall Studios in 2017; its project Chorus became Stray Gods: The Roleplaying Musical, unveiled in 2019 and released in 2023.

  • Before entering game development, Gaider worked as a hotel manager and wrote mainly for fun.
