Brenda Romero is a game designer, game director, writer and creative director. She is CEO and studio director of Romero Games.
Career
Romero entered the video-game industry in 1981.
UC Santa Cruz appointed her its first Game Designer in Residence in December 2012; the appointment began January 1, 2013.
She co-founded Romero Games in Galway in 2015 and became its CEO.
BAFTA presented Romero with its Special Award at the British Academy Games Awards in 2017.
Empire of Sin launched worldwide on December 1, 2020, with Romero identified as Game Director.
