In a world inhabited entirely by talking Pokémon, some living in bustling towns and others dwelling in the wild, one ordinary day takes a strange turn. The player awakens as a Pokémon with a jarring case of amnesia, remembering only that they were once a human. This revelation stuns everyone they meet, for while the Pokémon know of a distant human world, it is meant to remain forever apart from their own. Befriending a kindhearted partner Pokémon, the pair form a rescue team dedicated to helping others in trouble, braving ever-shifting mystery dungeons to save Pokémon lost, trapped, or in danger.
