Their voyages are carried out aboard the ghostly ship Red Marley, which serves as home and haven between raids. Opposing them is the Inquisition, a merciless order determined to hunt down every Cursed soul and stamp out the magic that sustains them. To survive and grow their crew, the pirates slip through hostile strongholds to seize powerful magical artifacts coveted by their enemies. Moving from island to island, resurrecting fallen allies and gathering forbidden power, the crew embarks on a supernatural treasure hunt against an implacable foe that means to see them destroyed for good.
