In a strange pocket universe drenched in vaporwave color and cosmic dread, a group of immortal beings called the Syndicate labors to build a perfect society and reawaken their ancient, alien gods. On the very night the island is meant to be sacrificed and its people moved on, catastrophe strikes: the entire Syndicate Council is found slaughtered inside a chamber only they could enter, an impossible locked-room murder. To untangle the crime, the Syndicate summons detective Lady Love Dies from three million days of exile. Free to roam the island and question its secretive residents, she must gather evidence, expose lies, and decide who will answer for the killings.
